Hi Sarah! I purchased a new, unlocked iPhone in the US. All over China you can buy sim cards. I picked up 6GB of data at the airport for about $45USD. I cancelled my AT&T number instead of paying to keep the number active. I’ll get a new sim card in each country. What are you planning to do?

Thanks! I think that’s my plan too, but I’m locked into our Verizon contract so all in all…butt loads of money! We are 3. Have fun adventurous girl!

Ah, being locked in is rough. My contract had expired. Cheap phones are very easy to come by here. You’ll make it work! THANKS and back at you!
