I bought my airplane ticket home. I will arrive in early July, a little more than 11 months after I departed from MSP. In free time wandering through cities, laying on beaches and sitting in transit, my mind sometimes travels to Minnesota. I have begun thinking about how I will feel when I arrive home, what I want and need to do, and how to meld adventure with stability. The reality of resuming the life that is most familiar to me is approaching.
From the last 9 months there are too many favorite places, people, foods, experiences and moments to list. The collection of 10 numbers and pictures below help to tell part of the story.
8,500,000 sq km: The size of Brazil, the largest country in South America and 5th largest in the world after Russia, Canada, United, States and China.

I love the countdown of things! Hard to believe that you will be back in July. I will of course, ongoing, be interested to hear what new “normal” life looks like for you. Also, I need you to go on another adventure in September so I can do more maternity leave armchair travel!
